THE BASEBALL TRIP 2016

Day 7 - Sunday, July 17.

After a healthy breakfast at the Time to Eat Diner, we headed south to Philly. Today the Phillies play host to one of their biggest rivals, the New York Mets. And, of course, the Mets fans were swarming the ballpark. They would start the 'let's go Mets' chant, and the Phillies fans would drown them out with boos. And so it went for nine innings. Jacob deGrom was pitching for the Mets; let's just say he's good. Cub fans know all about him. He gave up one hit in a complete game shutout of the Phils. (The only hit came from the Phillies' pitcher!)
